I moved from the Netherlands to Texas to study criminal law at the University of Texas School of Law. What began as an academic journey became a lifelong passion for justice, advocacy, and helping others find hope in difficult circumstances. The experience of building a life and career in a new country has shaped the way I approach my work—with determination, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the people who place their trust in me.
My practice is built on a simple belief: every person deserves to be heard, and every case deserves a thorough review. I have worked on complex criminal cases involving constitutional violations, claims of innocence, prosecutorial misconduct, and disproportionate sentences. I have also assisted clients in a wide range of civil matters, including contract disputes, consumer issues, and homeowner association disputes. Whether I am reviewing thousands of pages of records or helping a client resolve a legal dispute, my goal remains the same: provide honest advice, personal attention, and dedicated advocacy.
